„Syndicate and Ultima Underworld are back! It seems that twenty years on there’s still plenty of love for these titles so we’re pleased to confirm that effective immediately they’ll be available again on GOG, and we’ll be keeping them in the store for the foreseeable future. To celebrate this we’re offering these games as a free download for four weeks.”

That’s right! Until the 3rd of September 2021, 5 PM UTC, you can grab copies of Syndicate Plus™, Syndicate Wars, and Ultima Underworld I & II free of charge.

Thank you very much GOG and EA! It is great to have these classics available again, and having them freely available for a time is highly appreciated.

Paratech2008: I'd love to buy Dragon Age 2 and Dead Space 2 on GOG.
Yeah we need to get Dead Space 2! I'm surprised GOG doesn't have it since the first one is still here.
Thanks! Good thing they're back, snagged all of them just now. Never got around to trying them, might give them a go now. :)

By the way, in two months American McGee's Alice celebrates its 20th birthday, I know iknow, EA doesn't want to acknowledge this games existence, but maybe, just maybe try to give this game a place on gog. Many would appreceate it. ;)
The sequel is great as well. And while I'm at it, more Dragon Age games please. :)

Would love to also see Dead Space 3 come here, too.

Yeah, it ain't as great as Dead Space 1 & 2 - but Dead Space 3 is still good.

Sure, I already own Dead Space 3 and its DLC on Origin - but anytime games go DRM-FREE and go GOG, it's always great to see games & their legacy being preserved.

Same goes for Complete Editions of Dragon Age 2 & Inquisition.

As the games got delisted many people on Gog forums raised their voices and reached out to EA.
Gog heard them and took also care.

Thanks to all of you. This is, what makes this place so special. :-)

Had a shitty day at work, came home and smiled for the first time today, while adding Syndicates to my library. Thank you!!

American McGee's Alice was great! GOG really needs to get that series!
Fucking awesome!

Was super bummed when these left (despite being an idiot and never buying them) - as bona fide classics and genre defining (defying?) games they were things I was always glad were there to buy should I ever want them... until they weren't. At which point I felt stupid for never having picked them up thinking I'd never get a shot again.

Super, super news. Now I have them forever muhahaha!
Alll the people rushing to buy them before they were pulled might be (righteously!) pissed now.
Well played!
