It says that the original Doom 3 which was added to the BFG edition has multiplayer. It doesn't say anything about the BFG edition getting multiplayer.
They have updated the news saying only the Original Edition have multiplayer. At the time I posted it the news said both editions have multiplayer.

Oh good. Now I can play Doom 3 again as intended. The BFG edition is playable but everything about it feels off: an over-abundance of items, the duct-taped flashlight (shoulder light?) that kind of ruins the original game design, and in general the environments just feel too bright overall.

Seems like the regular price is also lower than it once was.

At last! Thanks GOG and Bethesda <3

Now it would be nice if they updated the Prime Gaming bundles (TESIV Oblivion, Fallout NV and possibly others) so the actual games are marked as owned when checking the store. I keep adding those games to cart during sales like this, only to realize I already own them.
