Damn, so it finally happened. Now If only we could get the exclusive Microsoft Store update patch to The Evil Within as well as the missing Commander Keen episode Aliens Ate My Babysitter (which I don't have such high hopes for because of a publishing/licensing mess back in the day).

Who knows, perhaps we will get DOOM 2016 this year yet. One can only hope as Bethesda is slowly running out of titles to push here.

Aliens Ate My Babysitter was originally developed by Formgen, which was later acquired by Atari. Bethesda would have to buy out the rights entirely from Atari in order to be able to sell it without having to pay Atari any licensing fees.

Thanks GOG and Bethesda!!!! Now only need Rage (2009) and Doom (2016) to keep growing my collection :D
Could the multiplayer functionality hold a Rage release back? Because I can see no other reason why the game wasn't released here years ago.

Same. Hopefully it's being worked on.
Is anyone having trouble downloading the original Doom 3? Every time I click it in my account, it seems to be stuck trying to load.

Same. It was an empty entry a few minutes ago. I guess GOG're still working on it.
It seems offline installers are not available right now, but the game can be installed through Galaxy. Let's hope it's fixed soon.

About what it includes, it is the same version as Steam: includes both Doom 3 and the Resurrection of Evil expansion pack in the same installation.

No it wasn't, I don't know where you got that nonsense from, it was only published by FormGen and was fully developed by Id. Talked with a former Id employee a very long time ago and he said that anything not co-published with Id was going to have licensing issues which is why we have problems with Heretic II and the Hexen II expansion as examples. Both of those are owned by Activision in that case, which mirrors the issues here with Keen 6, except that is owned by Atari as you stated.
I hope they fix the CD key issue I'm having with GOG's original Doom 3
Also, about multiplayer in BFG Edition, it still says "online functionality not available" which, unless I misunderstood the news, should not be the case.

What? This still needs a cd key?
Such a great thing! I really like(d) the original Doom 3. Thanks, GOG!
