Greetings everyone.
I want to talk with you about Bernd. He is depressive. A loaf of bread. And one of the most recognisable TV-characters from child program. Everyone knows him. No one knows how he became so succesfull.
His shows are full of his deep voiced dark mood and his cursing: "crap". He even comes to beg the audience for leaving him alone. Not to forget his company. A stunt liking sheep and a dangerous scientist bush.

Internationally, less people know him of course but lots of people who know him feel the same. Kind of funny but not knowing why. I post 2 links. One english article about him and one english subtitled video:

Pretty good - I made it as far as the defenestration of Prague (my German isn't nearly good enough to follow most of the narration, and the subtitles are fine but it's not the same). Beats Spongebob, if you ask me.

Yeah to this topic! Every time I vist my parents in Germany I watch the new episodes of Bernd das Brot! Even now after so many years it is still funny how he is not allowed to go :D

Did anyone of you know that Bernd got a PC Game this year? It's a Point and Click Adventure. Poor on animations but it keeps the mood of the protagonist. I wish GOG would bring this game up. But I would also doubt it could be a large success. At least large enough to justify an english version.
