Lifthrasil: Let's hope so and let's hope that Belgium stays the driving force for customer protection in the EU - and that the rest of the EU doesn't block their efforts, but follows suit.

Pheace: What? Hey, us Dutchies had some legislation before the Red Devils down there :p
Yes, I know. But the 'big ones' Germany and France often rate pandering to the industry higher than customer protection and block the application of customer friendly standards to the entire EU.

That said, the laws in the EU are still much more citizen- and cutomer-friendly than in many other countries. So on the whole I'm actually happy that the EU exists. And I'm happy that countries like Belgium and the Netherlands have some influence in it.

Because opening loot boxes gives the feeling of a thrill?

I know that too well, since my gambling was on the verge of addiction. It's not something I'm proud of, but acknowledge it. I used to open a lot of those boxes and feel stupidly bad after that. Few moments later, I was back opening them. It's really easy to get addicted to the feeling.
