It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Barefoot_Monkey: Looks like I have a lot of work to do ;)
That was the first thing that crossed my mind :brohug:
I'm thankful for the previous work and I'd be even more thankful for wathever you get to do, as minimal as it might seem.
+1 to you.
Feeling sorry for Barefoot_Monkey. :( Hopefully the changes aren't that intensive... wishful thinking though.

Falci:
Late reply, but maybe try ScreenGrab if you have Firefox.

Thank you for all your work!
Thanks to the monkey! Right now the quick post thing and shortcuts work well for me. I don't think I'd be posting without said features.

Falci: Hey, I've been thinking... would it be too hard to add a functionality to allow exporting our shelves as wallpapers or printable posters?

I suppose creating a PNG picture of the shelf as it is wouldn't be terribly hard, but generating custom formats to it (like allowing more than 5 games per row, auto resize it to fit a wallpaper, etc) would be a lot of work.

Anyway, at least exporting it as a PNG or BMP would be very useful already. :)

I know it's a silly thing to ask, but I'm kind of proud of my shelf and would like to carry it around more easelly. ^_^
I'm so sorry for not replying for so long. At the moment there are other things I'll need to work on first (I have to update everything to work with the new site, then dig into that TODO list I made earlier in this thread) but I like your idea and think it can be done. In fact, I'd like to skip ahead and give it a shot after I fix up compatibility. If it works out I'll reply to you again so you know. Sorry again for keeping you waiting.

Did gog ask your permission(s) before changing things btw ? ;)
Immensely grateful for all fellow GOGers that put so much hard work into making this site and forum pretty much usable on PCs.

Can't thank all of you enough. :-)

Don't worry, I'm happy for getting an answer at all. :) I'll be waiting for the eventual reply. ;)

Using the site for a few hours without your script made realise that I never truly appreciated your hard work.
Thank you for persisting and making this place actually usable and user friendly.

Ugh, yeah, I wish there was something I could do to help...if there's some gruntwork you need done for testing changes before implementation that wouldn't require a great deal of scripting knowledge, please don't hesitate to PM.

Of course. I got this message a few weeks ago:

"Dear mrkgnao,

We got tired of trying to fix the deficiencies in the GOG website, so instead we decided to hide them all behind big colourful rectangles on a field of grey. Hey, it worked for Windows 8, so we're going to try it too.

Do you have any objections?

Yours,
GOG.COM: ALL THAT IS GOOD IN MOVIES (oh, and games too)"

It's hard to believe how unusable the forum is without Barefoot Essentials. And why they didn't update the forum software with the relaunch, even though it always was the most broken thing about the site.
Thank you for your efforts Barefoot_Monkey, your work is much appreciated!

Oh dear, if the current site design is anything to go by, I'd hate to see them update the forum accordingly. IMHO, it would have made the forum even less usable than it is now, and at least double Barefoot_Monkey's work.

And his script improves a lot more than just the forum, for instance the changes GOG made to our accounts has broken the script's related functionality.
