Salve , Versione GNU/Linux Kde Neon (che poi sarebbe Ubuntu 18.04 con qualche modifica ) ho comprato da poco Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition ed è un bel gioco , però , alcuni personaggi si bloccano in modalità giocatore singolo , e nei messaggi riporta "Sovraccarico Movimento impossibile " ...assieme al gioco mi hanno dato delle pach ma solo una e andata a buon fine ed è :baldur_s_gate_enhanced_edition_faces_of_good_and_evil_en_gog_1_20148.sh , le altre danno errore e quindi non credo siano installate ,come posso portare a camminare il personaggio o i personaggi che in futuro si bloccheranno ?

Hi! I use Linux (equivalent to Ubuntu 18.04)

I recently bought Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition and it is a nice game, however, some characters get stuck in single player mode, and it displays an error: "Movement Overload/overwork impossible" (direct translation - I can't find the same error in English)

I also got a lot of DLC, but only Faces of Good and Evil works. (baldur_s_gate_enhanced_edition_faces_of_good_and_evil_en_gog_1_20148.sh,). The other ones give an error. I don't think they are installed.

How can I get the characters to walk without freezing?
For freezing, try this:
Go into the baldur.ini file under documents/baldur's gate - enhanced edition and look for the entry 'Path Search Notes'. The default value is 32.000. I set it to 320.000 and don't have any problems.
Did you purchase Seige of Dragonspear?

That's the only other playable DLC. It's a big expansion. The other DLC is just the soundtrack.

I couldn't get it working in Linux so I have it in Windows right now. I've had very bad luck with Linux game installs. However, there are other users who can probably help. GOG support is also very good.

I can't find any baldur.ini files , i am seeing in the folder /home/ user... /GOG Games/Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition/

searching the web I found out what the message means: the character does not have the strength to carry all objects that exceed a certain weight! so if you throw them or give them to other characters, go back to walking as before ... thanks for everything!

Yes! You got it!

The translation makes sense now. Overload= too much physical load.

Just pay attention to the heavy items and the color of the weight in the inventory screen. Yellow means you're encountered and red means your not going to be moving.

Enjoy playing Baldurs Gate! It's my favorite.
