It is official! Start to plan your holidays, tell your family that you won’t be seen for a week or two, think about what snacks and drinks you’ll have. On August 31st, 2023, Baldur’s Gate 3 will officially leave early access and be available on GOG in its full, ultimate RPG glory!
Belgian video game developer and publisher Larian Studios, known for their impeccable RPG masterpieces Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II, has officially announced the date of Baldur’s Gate 3’s full release. We couldn’t be more excited!
Baldur's Gate is widely considered as the most influential and arguably the best series of role-playing video games. The first game, Baldur's Gate, was released in 1998, and it was followed by a sequel, Baldur's Gate II in 2000. Then, after two decades, a third mainline entry, Baldur's Gate II entered early access and was being worked on by the amazing Larian Studios.
Now, after almost 3 years of early access we finally know the date of its full release. On August 31st, 2023, we will once again gather our party and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.
But to make things even better, we also get to have a look at the latest trailer for the game, as well as new in-game screenshots (all available on the gamecard). Here it is!
