With our RPG Month still going strong, we have another surprise for you in the form of an RPG Contest! This time we want you to think about a video game skill you would like to have in real life and explain why.

The best answers will win 1 of 15 game bundles, including 9 titles such as Windbound, Tyranny, Disco Elysium and more!

You have time to enter the contest until September 30th, 3 PM UTC.
In almost every RPG I can think of you heal over time, getting back to 100% after a while. With this skill, I would rarely have to be under the weather or feel as old as I do now.
Im not sure if this is as much of a skill or more of an attribute, but the amazing carrying capacity of characters in most RPG games. Just a sort of bag of holding would be some much of an outcome in life.

Im a teacher and always gotta lug around books and tests. Big grading day? Bag of holding. Doing some groceries?? Bag of holding. See an adorble small animal you absolutely wanna steal?? You guessed it.... Thats illegal.. :P
I would like to have mastery of Cold Spells, and wherever I might be on a hot day I would be able to cast Circle of Ice and cool things down.
the ability to restore my skills, being able to lower level to: "Expert in making bad decisions" and raise points to "intelligence" and "wisdom" PD_ I love you Gog!
The charisma and the persuading skills of a bard to be able to charm girls and have fun with them.

Not much success in real life, sadly.

Unrelenting Force (Skyrim shout) - would like to knock down annoying coworkers when yelling at them in meetings...

TZODnmr2k5: For me, I'd like to change what I did 30 years ago...
You might want to change something you did 5 hours ago. At least this one is in your reach.

... I have an insane amount of RPGs already so odds are that I would win one I already own!
The prize isn't a random RPG out of a bunch, but a code for all 9 games listed in item 3b of the rules. 15 winners get a code each.
Turning back time although not being a prince of Persia: this would help a lot in daily life, even if you're not a parkour-enthusiast son of a monarch.

Also, a better way of looking at it is by using the mistakes to make better judgments for the future. Although it was a traumatic incident which I'd love erased from history!

Well, I got most of them and the only one I don't have that interests me is edge of eternity...

Healing, of course. I mean think of all the good you could do if you just knew Cure Light Wound.
Crafting. It might not be as entertaining as knocking people over with gusts of wind, but being able to make anything I wanted would surely come in handy.

I could make a ring of fire resistance, or build a house on my own... Or never have to deal with another mechanic.

Yup. Crafting would do it for me.

I would choose skill crafting like in minecraft or similiar game. Imagine creating anything from basic stuff, like a power item that could give you unlimited power or a object that could allow you to travel in time, a spaceship to travel the universe. You could even create "permament bosting stuff" for all atributes. You could make anything you think off, now this would be in my book a cheat skill.
Portal Abilities. Was Portal an RPG? Of course other RPGs let you port about as well.

Friends far away? Drop a portal. Family across the continent? Drop a portal. Want to travel without waiting in an airport?
Drop a portal. Gotta move that piano up 4 flights of stairs, you know I'm dropping a portal.
I would like to be able to fast travel. I rarely do it in video games, usually preferring to explore and take the scenic route, but in real life it would be very useful to avoid time-wasting commutes going through the same streets every time.
I don't know if it counts as a skill, but the Mysterious Stranger perk from Fallout would be awesome. Every time I encounter even a minor adversity in my life, a dude in a leather jacket pops up to help me. Bad day at work with a tough deadline? The mysterious stranger comes in and types my worries away. Can't carry my groceries? The mysterious stranger pops up to carry the weight.
