With our RPG Month still going strong, we have another surprise for you in the form of an RPG Contest! This time we want you to think about a video game skill you would like to have in real life and explain why.

The best answers will win 1 of 15 game bundles, including 9 titles such as Windbound, Tyranny, Disco Elysium and more!

You have time to enter the contest until September 30th, 3 PM UTC.
I'd like to have a transmutation video game skill, so I could transform into a creature with tentacles & sharp teeth to DEVOUR everything in real life. Not like Venom or other symbiote dorks, rather something from Lovecraft mythology.
"The one who devours", that sounds right to me)
Too many to choose but since I'm a bit of a hoarder, I'd love to have the ability to access a stash-like storage from wherever I am - would simplify so many things (for example, travelling abroad or having a change of clothes handy wherever you might be).

This is a tough one. My first thought would be a healing ability. It would be nice to have an area of effect general heal as well as resurrect. If that wasn't available, it would be nice to fly or become invisible.
An RPG ability I would like to have in real life is, to somehow via the magic of time-space distortion obtain a Dungeons and Dragons bag of holding. The ability to access another dimension that allows you to hoard virtually anything would be extremely useful in pretty much all facets of life. To be able to just put anything of interest into a bag and not have to worry about space ,or pockets ,or backpacks, would be very nice. You could put heavy objects into the bag and it would feel like nothing , you could store an entire library's worth of books, you could even crawl into the bag and live there. Limitless space equates to limitless possibilities and that is why I believe practically the bag of holding would be one of the best RPG additions to real life.
I'd like to have immunity to fear, like Dungeons & Dragons Paladins (in videogames like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights etc.), combined with a good endurance skill. life would be easier to live and many situations more easy to overcome.
Without the "brakes" of fear I could act without hesitation and be more effective in any situation.

Such a loaded question, I love it. There are simple general answers, such as being able to respawn or have checkpoints that you can save and reload back to. I have certainly made my fair share of mistakes and would love to see what different paths a new choice would have made. What would my life be like if I did college instead of joining the Army?

Then there are the selfless choices, like healing abilities and curing disease. Would be great to offer something to others, but I suppose even those can be used selfishly or used to make money from.

And of course the purely selfish options. Superhero-like abilities, such as invisibility, flying, super strength. Or simply earning reputation with merchants to get a better deal. Maybe nefarious skills, like pickpocketing?

Wow, who knew there are so many options, and how would a person decide just one? I suppose I would make the most out of any that I was given. So I guess the skill I would like to have is "any of them", and I would figure out the best way to use it.
I wish for a save/load feature in real life. That would be cool for obvious reasons, but no auto-save. No one wants to be auto-loaded right back into the moment 100ms before he got crushed by a falling piano.

Hmmmm... That would be hard... I guess something like space distortion which would allow the creation of Dr. Strange-like gates connecting different areas. I choose this, because it has many uses, such as teleportation - obviously - but also the creation of a "pocket dimension" to store and retrieve things (like the one where your Familiar resides in DnD) through space stretching/compression. In general, distorting space would prove veeeeery useful...
I would say being able to fast travel to see the world.
I'd love to have healing magic, to be able to heal sick people who were in need of aid. I understand it could be a bit of a problem if then people start trying to get me to heal them as well (I know there are a LOT of sick people in the world) however, I suppose that if I had healing magic, others might have it too, no? So I would not be the only one who could help others.
Be able to walk around with a rocket launcher or a BFG-9000 and never get tired :)
I shall claim me the power of the tool tip. Whenever I have to look at something a bit too long, a useful window will pop up to explain me what it is qnd how it will effect my stats. Likewise, with other people I will know if they are friendly, indifferent or hostile aswel as their strengths and weaknesses.
I'd like to be able to smash random jars or boxes for gold coins or health.
