swatkat: You are falsely accusing me. I did none of the above.
You argue that I falsely accuse you, yet you offer no proof that tinyE or HypersomniacLive were responsible for any abuse of rep or spam deletion other than pure conjecture. Meanwhile, there's documented proof in the archive of the forum that the account you are posting under used to be named "gunsynd", who openly proclaimed that he was giving his account to nes400, the same nes400 that has openly admitted to abusing the rep function, creating multiple alt accounts to do so with, and impersonating other users in attempts to scam people (all of which I have personally witnessed). Immediately after he proclaimed this, the "gunsynd" account typed nowhere near like it used to before, changed its name, and began showing the same game-grabbing behavior as nes400 did.
Perhaps this evidence is not such worthy of conviction, but it's certainly far, far more compelling than the baseless tinyE/HypersomniacLive accusation. If you truly intend to go through with such, then as I said, be prepared to handle the above proof delivered and backed up by not only me, but a crapton of other users here.

Telika: Now, is it just me, or do other people feel like there's some sort of echo between the spring sale imagery and the sudden regulation of gog forums ?

God I hope not, the left side there looks just like where I live. :P

swatkat: I would like to report : HypersomniacLive and tinyE for breaking the following rules:

- Abuse or encouraging abuse of the reputation system and the “report as spam” system - for the explanation of how our forum features work, have a look at the Forum and feedback section in our FAQs here.
- Spamming, bashing, flaming, trolling, or abusing the reputation and/or “report as spam” function.
- Posting something that is knowingly false.

I had lost all my rep (from 1000 rep) and got a lot of my forum topics deleted even if i helped other users because they were reported as spam. I suspect them - really like the admins to investigate their forum behavior.
To this I can just say that, unfortunately, I won't be banning anyone based on PAST offences. However, feel free to, as soon as you see or suspect the said behaviour, to report the users. But please do so via a PM, not as a forum post. Thanks.

swatkat: Ok thanks for mentioning how the procedure works. We need to clean the forum once and for all.
Do you guys understand you are basically losing money on your business from the un-friendly forum and no help ?!
Well, more than anything, we'd hate to see newcomers leave because they find our forums hostile - hence why we think that attempting to patch things up here is worth it.

liquidsnakehpks: Looks like standard rules like any other forum i have been , the drm free crowd will be hard to tame here , good luck fables
I'm surprised more people don't realize this. It's not like any of the points in the new Code are unheard of, unusual, or out of the blue. Thanks!

I've seen more help, support and friendly environment on piracy group sites were users try to fix errors. Sorry to mention this sort of thing.

JunglePredator: But...

They ARE out of the blue.
They're not - the previous set of rules that has been around for quite a while wasn't much different from the new one - if anything, it was more vague. Other than that, I gave everyone a heads up two weeks ago. But now it's a massive surprise all over again...

He meant that they are out of the blues, meaning GOG staff. But if one has to explain a joke...
Does this mean no swearing? I mean I'm not exactly a swear machine, but I AM a sailor, and such swear like one. Sometimes I tend to type with foul language out of general frustration, not aimed at any particular person. Are you now saying that is should not be allowed? Asking for clarification, not as a challenge of the rules.

Thanks.

To me it means no swearing; but then I belong to a public speaking group where swearing is... very frowned upon & saying the wrong thing to the wrong person could cause legal troubles... so the community standard is quite tight.

As much as I appreciate your answer, it is not any kind of official one and I was asking the blue who is enforcing the rules what his opinion is, as it is the only one that actually matters in this case.

swatkat: and users like tinyE, HypersomniacLive go up to 9 or 11 rep per day
Is THAT how tinyE went from 1000 to -150? Man, this site is a wild ride.

Well what I'm saying, unless they specifically say swearing is allowed... and even if it is, it can be a reason for complaints to generate as it's not allowed everywhere.
So take the official stance with a gain of salt. If you swear at someone, even if swearing is allowed, it could be taken as an attack which isn't allowed.
