Damn artillery (especially the mortars) feels so good in these games, after you've defeated their army and besieging their base and the cannon balls are raining down and peasants are dying left right and center, buildings are blasted, nothing feels quite as satisfying.

I always kept running out of shells. Not that it mattered because I usually ran out of bullets way before that. Not that that mattered because I usually ran out of food before I ran out of bullets before I ran out of shells.

Those Cossacks games are impossible! :P

Yeah it's pretty important to have full mines before undertaking any big battles.
