So, what do you think about this fan remake?

It looks like some good work has gone into it. No idea how far along they are. If it all comes together, is love to give it a shot. I played it on Xbox and got the PC version to replay it but hated the controls. I'd love some controller input.

I saw it's on the Xbox one now. It's on my list. But if this project gets done in a few years, I may just wait to play it until this is ready.

Looks great, but sadly I strongly suspect - speaking from bitter experience here - that it'll be shut down by EA and/or Disney. The only thing that might save them is the fact that you need to own the original game in order to play the remake.

Will this even finish? The graphic is wonderful but a game is so much more that just graphic. Doing everything else would require so much work

I don't see the point tbh, the graphics of the original Knights of the old republic aren't so bad that a remake with better graphics makes much sense. There may be such games (e.g. Betrayal at Krondor), but this isn't one of them imo.
There are other issues with Knights of the old republic, especially its absolutely lame and unbalanced combat (iirc there's not a single well-designed combat encounter in the entire game). But redesigning that would be very difficult and affect the core of the game.

Thi is another team developing on a proof of concept demo, hard at work trying to get the attention of a publisher. I doubt this will ever be finished, unless they get picked up by Disney, for a Final Fantasy 7 styled remake.

Looks phenomenal, especially Manaan. But not too confident that will ever actually be finished. Fingers crossed though. I'd be fully content with a tech demo where I can explore Manaan with Bastilla Shan.

Good work. I wish to see KotOR3 with that level of graphics someday, but probably it would not come true.

Not to shit on the artist, but that doesn't look like Bastila in the face department. I can't pin down the exact details, but the nose is definitely wrong.

Considering it requires the original game to play, and will be completely free otherwise, I see no reason why this should be shut down.

And honestly, every (mechanically or narratively) good 3D game from the mid-2000s or before should get a graphical overhaul at least. The 3D back then was atrocious, and definitely didn't age well.
