Maighstir: Most current news to me: The game will be great and I can barely wait to play it, what does a few pixels matter?
I'm sure it will be great, that was never even questionable. I just take issue the marketing used and various quotes from CDPR, should the release be heavily downgraded.
I'd rather not debate about anything here, just curious if more footage or clarification has occured or if anything has definitively been disproven.
tammerwhisk: Trying to weigh the pros and cons of the game while the pre-order deal is still live. I mean I shouldn't really be considering it presently, but tempted to just say fuck it. (Really what is $47 more when there is already a mountain of student loans?)
Grargar: Since CDPR claims that there will be graphical enhancements done with the day 1 patch on both consoles and the PC, my advice would be to buy the game (at the discounted price) and to not download any of the included files. Afterwards, once the game has been released, you should take a better look at the comparison reviews that are bound to appear, and if you are satisfied, you just download and play it. If, on the other hand, you find that the comparison reviews are painting a bad picture, you should instead ask GOG for a refund (you can refund any game from GOG, as long as you haven't downloaded any of the files and if no more than 30 days have passed ever since the purchase date).
Thanks.
