Silliness is the defining feature of the Saints Row franchise. Saints Row 1 & 2 were fairly forgettable, but then The Third came along with pony races, clones, the Saints being a media empire, and all around wackiness. The third game is where the franchise found its voice.

Every iteration has seen the Saints getting bigger and badder. With a potential 5, they'd have a <SPOILER> at their disposal! Think of what could happen with that!

I'll take another Saints Row the Third eagerly. IV I still liked the whole gang/character thing but vehicles just became pointless. I prefer Third in that sense.

Well, I wouldn't mind it, but I'd like it to be more like the third one.

No more superpowers & stuff, but definitively should keep the crazyness / wacky humor.

No need really to return to being supposedly all serious and become again known as "oh, that GTA Clone".

GTA IV was fucking boring. But have you played GTA V? GTA V is pure awesome.

Wouldn't mind that. I really enjoyed the previous games. Another setting would be nice though.
But i'm unsure whether i want them to stay on their way towards a silly fun or not...I really liked SRIV but sometimes it was a bit too much....

Not really sure where they could go from here? It’s difficult to ground the series now that it’s gone so far off the rails. The Saints graduated from gang warfare to fighting intergalactic warlords. Going back to acquiring turf, driving cars, and using conventional weapons would seem like a step down to the fans of the last game.

Silly fun is great but I would rather be fighting humans then aliens or demons. Bring back Septic Avenger as well. Maybe add an aerial version where you are flying a chopper and too.dumping it on your targets

I still haven't played #2 and it's been on my computer for three months. :P

play 2 to death
finished 3 but it never felt more then okay
4 was great ina sort of batshit insane way but i cant be bothered to play it again
and gat out of hell feels more or less like a reskinned 4 which it is
it hasnt grabbed me the way 2 has
