It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

It's a small issue and it's bugging me. It's related to games that have been recently updated with a blue dot next to them and I want the number to go away!

I usually run "gogrepo.py update -os windows -lang en", and they tend to go away.

Manually, at least earlier they'd go away after you start a download for an updated game, you can cancel it right afterwards. Not sure if they go away similarly also nowadays.

Also I seem to recall that earlier they also went away by merely waiting (days or weeks), but maybe I remember wrong.
To make the update notification disappear with the next login it should be enough to look at the gamecard of the updated game in your library.

They seem to be gone now after restarting the browser. Had to click on the game to get the blue dot to go away but the number that haunts me remained. Post-restart it seems OK.

Steps to potentially fix the ghost-number-of-accounts are:

1. Click on the games that have been recently updated (they have a blue dot)
2. When all blue dots are gone, restart the browser
3. Pray

The number was there when I restarted the browser. First it was a 1, probably for a forum reply, then it was a 3, just like before, and now the number is gone. It seems very irregular.
GoG's notifications work on the quantum uncertainty principle; you can't know both how many you have and what they are for.
As soon as you look at them, they go away. But when you stopping looking at them, they come back.

In other words, they're one of the more broken things on the site...
