Have they been updated yet to come with higher resolution support right out the box?

Because I've been struggling to get Dark Forces 2 working with better resolutions. And sometimes it has texture color issues where everything would look like a rainbow.

These games are notoriously janky on modern systems but last time I played DF2 it worked alright. Check PC Gaming Wiki if you haven't, there are fan fixes for various issues.

They are tricky to have them perfectly functional, but I achieved it using dgvoodoo2. The vanilla GOG version is intended to be played in software mode. It does not look bad at all, in fact the only advantage of accelerated mode is smoother non pixelated textures and better performnce compared with the software mode

The music non looping or not playing correctly is a hit or miss depending your windows version/update. some updates used to mess the music wrapper
