Owners get the new content for free.

Among the Sleep, the first-person toddler simulator with things that go bump in the night and are NOT your own head has just been updated to the Enhanced Edition. Its price has been re-adjusted to reflect the content additions and improvements but previous owners get the update for free. Here's what's new:

- Improved visuals
- Now includes Artbook and soundtrack
- Enhanced puzzles and gameplay, new dialogue
- A brand-new museum level where you can check out behind-the-scenes footage and other stuff that ended up getting cut from the game
- Change your pajamas! And in the game.

So, who's up for another creepy crawl?
Yay, maybe it's sorta good now instead of kinda shite but not quite.
Will definitely try it out.

I'd like some more info about this: How are they improved; did the game moved to another engine or is it just HD textures or something like that? Does it mean that the minimum requirements also changed? Is the gamecard updated to reflect the changes or the specs i see right now are still for the old version? Thanks!

Full details, for anyone interested. Looks like it's also been adjusted to reflect "different economic realities" (a.k.a. regional prices above base).

Nevertheless, it's nice of them to give it for free to previous owners, instead of releasing a paid DLC or a more expensive Redux GOTY Enhanced Edition.

The only thing I know is that they upgraded from Unity 5.2.3f1 to 5.6.3p3. I launched the game to see if it worked and at first sight I didn't notice much of a difference with the previous version.

Just a small heads up. They added several things but unfortunately they also removed the option to select subtitle and audio seperately in game. I've already contacted them and asked them to bring this option back but it is still possible to do this by editing a file manually. If you are interested you can find this solution here.
Woo I guess. New content for free is always good, though this game underwhelmed. I wish people would hold their releases until they have their finished product so their initial reactions aren't "This is shit".

GOG.com: - Now includes Artbook and soundtrack
So where are the download links for those new extras? I only have manual, wallpaper and artworks(18) listed under game extras in my library and the game page also doesn't mention soundtrack and artbook.

They're in the game.
Feck knows why.

There is some information on their blog: http://www.krillbite.com/2017/10/30/we-are-releasing-an-enhanced-edition-of-among-the-sleep-this-week/
No technical details though.
Completed the game a long time ago. It was decent, but I can't see myself replaying it.

Thanks for the link; it may not offer technical details, but i found this in another corner of their website. I'm curious to see what it actually is. ;)

So, nothing major should have changed in terms of performance and in the trailer of the enhanced edition (which i didn't noticed earlier -- blame 4" screens!) they even claim it has better performance, which is what i'm interested the most when it comes to Unity. In any case, thanks! :)

I recall "playing" The Plan a while back, it's interesting.
Where's the discount deal ?

Yep, quite the philosophical experience.
