It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Has GOG swallowed a fish too big for it with Witcher? everything (including the Galaxy installer) I tried downloading
today stalls at 15-16 MB regardless of what browser I use and after shutting down everything else internet related.

Still a problem?

For me downloading both with the old GOG Downloader, and without (direct web links) works just fine. E.g. the first .bin file of TW3 (2 of 7) is downloading just fine now with the web link, 1.2 Mbytes/sec.

What browser did you try before? For me it worked with Firefox.

(I don't believe it depends on the browser though...)
