Breja: don't even mention Prometheus, just... don't

Fenixp: Excuse me, Prome-what? There wasn't any Alien-related movie done since the release of Alien3 DC.
Well, at least there were some good comics. Silly as it may sound, I really liked Superman vs Aliens. It might actually be my favourite Alien-related thing next to Aliens (the second movie that is). It captured the mood surprisingly well, and Superman gradually losing his powers throught the book was a good device for building tention. Ever since DC started their new line of animated movies I hoped they would struck a deal with Dark Horse and get that and Batman vs Predator made.

... Is there any Superman cameo where Superman wouldn't progressively lose his powers? Oh, I suppose there are those where his opponents suddenly get powers similar to his.

That does sound fun. I want all of it in videogame form. Seriously, Batman translates so well into videogames...

Oh wait, pointless resurrect? I would not do such a thing.
1. Would you please write a short summary (verdict, pros and cons) too?

2. All DLCs released?

3. Is there complete edition or upcoming complete/goty edition? Because I want to buy a full package with all DLCs.

Thanks. Good review.

Roxolani: 1. Would you please write a short summary (verdict, pros and cons) too?
I think verdict is quite clear: Buy it. Alien Isolation was my GOTY of 2014, along with Transistor.

Pros and cons? Well, I can do that in retrospect now, in other words, a bit less drawn in by the game! So:
Pros:
- One of the few recent AAA games focusing on a singular core mechanic and making it as good as possible
- The first game to translate the original Alien movie into videogame form perfectly
- Adaptive, dynamic AI for the creature
- Survival horror which puts the 'Survival' back into the mix
- Fantastic atmosphere, one of the few horror games which actually made me feel scared and constantly stressed
- The game constantly attempts to feel varied and change environments or tempo

Cons:
- Length can be a turnoff for some, the game can last anywhere between 15 to 25 hours depending on how much you go out of your way to explore and there's not enough enemy variety to carry it. That's taken from other people's issues with the game tho, I felt sorry it ended, I really loved it all the way trough.
- AI of other opponents is quite basic. Humans and working joes just patrol the halls and when they spot you, working joes walk towards you very slowly and humans start shooting.
- Difficulty is all over the place, due to the dynamic AI, bits which are supposed to get easy may become difficult and vice versa. Not a con per se, some people might percieve it as such tho.
- The less alieny bits are not as interesting as the more alieny bits.
- Storyline is merely okay.

Roxolani: 2. All DLCs released?
No. There's a bunch of DLC coming in ... March, I think. Those will be final.

You can get the base game + the season pass. Keep in mind that the only so far released story DLC are two taking place on Nostromo, about 20 minutes of game time each. The rest are challenge maps and a new survival mode. There is no DLC expanding or adding content to the original campaign - that's as complete as you're going to get, with more or less no loose ends when the game finishes.

Glad I got Alien Iso + season pass. It's been awesome. :D
Good details. All what I need. Thanks again! +1 :)
75% off on Steam. Go and get it.

I am terribly sorry for having two of these topics on the first page.

Got it a some time ago in a Humble Bundle and while it has some interesting design decisions, there are many negatives too in my opinion.

Especially that horrid first stealth part with the humans, abysmal and way too hard...
