Any chance we will see the trilogy + xpacs on gog? Steam has 2/3 but I would LOVE to get my hands on the original AOE w/ Win 7/8/10 support!

I'd like to get the second one as well, since my physical copy doesn't work anymore (due to Windows 10 blocking SafeDisk).

Nothing official, but I will say currently no, as GOG hasn't signed a deal with Microsoft as of yet. But, this could change at any moment.

We need to get Microsoft on board.

I like to see this and the Marathon games aswell.

Anyother old school Microsoft game that I do not know?

Marathon doesn't belong to Microsoft and is, instead, Bungie's property. You can download the trilogy free and legally from here.

Well, there are quite a few people clamouring for Freelancer.

So is it like ArenaSetup and DaggerfallSetup?

Just download and play? Or do I have to set up a DosBox?

I would love to see Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends here. Its in my opinion the best game from the Rise of Nations Microsoft series.

The series was never released on DOS. In fact, Marathon 1 and 3 were Mac-exclusive and only Marathon 2 got a Windows version. Some years ago, Bungie released the source code for the games and from them, fans were able to create Windows, modern Mac and Linux versions. You can download ready-to-play zip files from here.

Simpler than the setups for Arena and Daggerfall. You just extract them and start the .exe.
They're actually source-ports similar to those for Doom, as Bungie released the source-code and the data of all three games under a GPL license.
All of them were originally made for Mac (I think only Marathon 2 got an official port for Windows), but thanks to the new source-port, they're also available for modern Windows and Linux.

The sad thing is Microsoft Bungie released an HD version of Marathon Durandal only for Xbox 360 which has HD sprites that looks awesome especially how the guns look:

I just took a quick look at the free AlephOne version of Durandal and I honestly don't see a significant difference between the two versions (screenshots attached).

Forgive me for saying this but Mircrosoft's list of classic games is not as hype as Blizzard games and what's left of EA games that are not here.

Still its all nice and good if Age of Empires and Rise of Nations do come here.

Strange is just that when I played the Xbox 360 version it gave the option to use the older sprites of the guns and enemies as if they were the vanilla version and the HD one is the one made for the re-release.

I went to the AlephOne page for Durandal and it says this: "This release of Marathon 2: Durandal includes the classic graphics, and revamped high-definition textures and monsters from the Xbox Live Arcade edition."
That explains it.
