It's over 9000.

Sorry, couldn't help myself >.<
Technically, it's currently 122 years and 164 days, but who knows what the future holds.

tinyE: I should point out that age has put it's limitations on me. In high school I was a fucking Mortal Kombat master, but 20 years later man, I just don't have the speed or dexterity to be any good at it anymore. The same goes for most platformers.
I never got to that level in Mortal Kombat, though, I´m glad to say that thanks to growing up (maybe) among cats, my reflexes are as good as theirs. When I was a kid I used to train them to do back jumps, I had a black cat who was like a ninja. I can avoid my cats´paws swings near my face and block their jumps at me in close quarters when playing "stare" with them. No one else at home can :D
If there's an age limit it should be on young people. I say ban everyone younger than 21 from playing video games.
omg i love her and want to be her when i get old. Plus, she picked Khajiit! :) And she's totally into the RPG element of it. <3<3<3
lol nasty skeevers.

As someone who grew up on video games, I strongly disagree with this. In fact, I suspect that many (perhaps most) of the games out there would not exist if such a thing were banned.

agreed. I never would have been able to save my sister from cholera if i never played Oregon Trail. that and single-handedly wipe out the buffalo.

Nope just nope. I ain't gonna wait 3 years.

On a serious note, I wonder if there will be senior citizen tournaments for e-sport games in the future. They could allow a certain degree of mind freshening drugs. Or maybe play a very slow-paced game. Like Arma.

Shadowstalker16: What do you think the age limit is for playing games? Whatever it is, it sure isn't stoppin her : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Jgwdkxzg78
Found on PCMR and thought I'd share.
Of course there is no practical age limit to playing games, but why would there be? People play games if they want to play them, have access to them and are physically capable of doing so, and that is independent of age. The only thing that could limit the age at which one plays video games is death itself, physical or mental ailment, or some kind of authoritative force imposing its will upon others such as a totalitarian regime banning them with strict punishment for offenders or similar. Other than external forces like that there is no limit and I can not think of any logical reason why there would be or why anyone would think there was or should be.

What is the age limit is for reading books? Watching TV? Wearing socks? Eating carrots? Listening to music? Drawing artwork? Swimming? Why would video games be any different from any other thing? :)

Such a concept makes no sense in my eyes other than closed mindedness or loss of freedom or availability.
Lets introduce an age limit for using smartphones. Wont work lol...sadly..

Yeah that is the problem though. In the US and Europe it might be different or anywhere else but where I live it might be different but people are constantly saying I'm too old to play games. Many people still lack the knowledge that gaming is just as if not much more engaging and entertaining a medium as books or films. How people view playing games as juvenile while buying a new smartphone every 4 months is beyond me.

I'm supporting this.

The more years pass, the more old people will play games, simply because there would be more of those who grew up with them.

Do you actually know any people who buy phones every 4 months, or is this just hyperbole?

I mean in particular people who have something against playing games. I probably bought a new phone every about 8 months recently (it's just hard to find a phone I'm really satisfied with).
There should be an age limit for smartphones: to not buy a new one until the previous one has been used for at least three years. I don't get why people waste such an intense amount of energy and (mining) resources by buying a new smartphone each year.
