If this is the case I may not look at this site again. I have been active for 20 hours and now I can't get a free game? If you give me a shit game I will know it and never come back again!
For what it's worth, you can get quite a number of free games from gOg here: https://www.gog.com/games?price=free&sort=bestselling&page=1

Not the same thing as what you're talking about, but maybe you'll find something right up your alley.
here it comes, another grumpy in a band..

Yeah, that is pretty lame. I hadn't reached my first free one yet either.

Come on GOG, this is bad. Bad planning or execution or both, but this is not the way it should happen. Here's a tip... when the free games get "wolfed down," end the insomnia sale. No frustrated customers.
I'm sorry, could someone clue me in? What are we unhappy about?

It was advertised that we would get a free mystery game when buying 10 games from the Insomnia Sale, however that promo has run out before the sale ended.

Thanks for explaining that.... so basically the plan to annoy customers was by design,,, understood :)

Oh! Thanks for the explanation - that seems a bit silly to be sure, though hardly a reason to abandon GOG altogether in my humble opinion. :)

He is a new user here (March 2016). So I can understand his anger atleast a bit.

Grumpy256: snip
You can refund any game that you haven't downloaded. No one can give you your time back, though.

It's not great how it panned out and I for one don't like the Insomnia sales that do turn out as intended. But, GOG has great sales as well and there are not many other places where you can get DRM-free games.
If I were new here, I'd also be irritated. How do you entice customers to buy more product with promises of a freebie once a purchase quota is met, and then say "Sorry, but we ran out of this product which has, quite literally, an inexhaustable supply."?

Or just add some visible counter, so people know beforehand :\

It's a strange coincidence - right when GOG ran out of free games, I ran out of money to buy more games. Strange, right?
"If you give me a shit game I will know it and never come back again!"

Isn't that kind of subjective?

And OT, yes I'm a fanboy, but very bad form from GOG here.

It's a conspiracy.
