EDIT: New Year's Eve plans are to get out of the house and join some friends for general partying until about 12:01am, then straight to bed because I have to work on 1/1.

For the year in general, nothing terribly special planned yet, but I do have plans for a couple of trips in the summer. Iowa in July to visit my brother and his family and also to attend the annual convention of the State Highpointers. And Colorado in August to climb Long's Peak (highest point of Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park and a 14000'+ mountain) and hopefully dip down into New Mexico for a few more county highpoints. I have done over half of them in NM, but it's a long way from Seattle and I haven't been there since 2010.
