yeah, I tend to read the "classics". I'm normally not into sci-fi, but that book was just amazing.

Did you like any of the sequels?

I did, I preferred the first book overall, but I remember reading the original six and liking them. They are not all incredible novels, but I'm not too critical with books, I just enjoy them for what they are (within reason). It's been a long time since I read them though. I have never read the newer ones by his son, so I can't say how good they are.

Never been much a fan of sci-fi. Although i did read the Jules Verne books as a kid if those count as sc-fi. Also a couple others here and there. Like The Tripods by John Christopher.
