I have a few steam keys from bundles I was going to work into a giveaway, but have been struggling with an idea of how to do it creatively. I'm leaning towards doing a crossword puzzle (being too busy/lazy to figure out how to design a puzzle that results in a unique hex code). Two questions:

1) what would be the best way to present it? I'm assuming ASCII would be a mess - what sort of file format conversion/upload might work?
2) To avoid spoilers I was thinking of having people PM me answers - is that a bad idea? Alternative?

I'll assign the 'solved' rep points randomly from the best feedback. Thanks!

You can just make an image of it and put it as an attachment to your post.

And yeah, i've used the PM system on several giveaways, works fine.

Thanks - I knew I could attach a jpg but didn't have a good idea on what to make the native file in. After a bit of experimenting I'll probably end up trying to make it in PPT and then saving to jpg from there.

You're welcome.

Also, the simplest way (what I'd do) is to compose the file in whatever soft seems fit, and just PntScn it, paste it in Paint, crop it, and save in jpg or gif or whatever. This method is compatible with any soft, no need to check the "save as" options...

Have fun. Designing experimental giveaways is a blast.
