Hi, I like adventure games very much. Well, I played a lot of them about 15 years go, then got tired, but now I want them really much again. My 2 favourite in GOG's database are Beyond the Steel Sky and Teenagent. I like their style and sense of humour. When I was younger I really appreciated Jack Orlando, Broken Sword, Simon the Sorcerer, Tony Tough (but only the first one) and few others.

After finishing those two I bought a few of Lucas Arts adventure games, including Sam&Max, The Secret of the MI or Indiana Jones + Goblins Series but they were much different. Also awesome, but I'm looking for something rather in the Beyond the Steel Sky and Teenagent style. One hero, only one possibility of interaction with items.

What should I buy?
Well one of the the reasons BASS is so good is that it's never been duplicated. It's like saying "I'd really like another Diablo." :P

I love all of those titles too and I'm plum out of ideas here.

I'd defintiely recommend Wadjet Eye Games' catalogue. Most of their games use only one interact button, but a few do have multiple playable characters. Off the top of my head The Shivah, Primordia, and a Golden Wake are the only ones with a single protagonist.
One hero, one possibility of interaction with items? Have you played Blade Runner? The style is completely different of course, compared to BASS, but it's also set in a futuristic dystopian world, with a really intense atmosphere. Zero comedy though.
I second on Primordia. Loved the story, world and characters.

Also check out The Longest Journey (not the Dreamfall sequels, mileage will vary with those). The first one is one of the best adventure games. Very deep and rich in worldbuilding.

I played a little of Gemini Rue and liked it as far as I got. I've been meaning to get back to it, but since I only played maybe 30-40 minutes, I can't attest to the rest of the game.
I really love Syberia. Syberia 2 not so much but it might be worth it for the conclusion of the story.

beneath a steel sky any similar games like it?

If someone says "I'd really like another Diablo", I'd tell them to go play Torchlight. Beyond the latter not having multiplayer and not bundling all the fun of Inventory Tetris, I don't really see much difference between them. As for Diablo II and Torchlight II, it's really only the Inventory Tetris that's missing, so they're getting closer and closer to each other.

I ragequit Torchlight 2 a few times because of how terrible the UI/control system is for ranged characters. It's quite accessible for melee but let me tell you, Torchlight 2 does not do ranged right. Diablo 2 was just fine in that regard, iirc.

Have you tried all the Sierra adventure games? Sierra and LucasArts were really the two big names in adventure games in the late 80s to mid 90s.

I, on the other hand, prefer ranged to melee in Torchlight 2 (primarily playing a mage dual-wielding wands, which might behave differently to someone wielding handguns, a "shotgonne", or a bow; and I have a barbarian with claws for that close-up experience). And, yeah, sure, there are some differences between the games, but I consider most of them rather irrelevant.
LOL, first of all "bravo me" - Beyond the Steel Sky :D. Of course I meant Beneath a Steel Sky, thank you for understanding :)

Thank you, all of them look very interesting. I will check them asap!

Well, cyberpunk wasn't the most important part of my BASS fascination, but thank you. I recognize this game, but I've never played it. Now, when I look at screenshots, I'm not sure if this will pass the trial of time for the completely new gamer.

I have played TLJ about 12 years ago. And I've even finished this one. Amazing, suprising ending, however it was a little bit too heavy for me. I like funny adventure games (but still 9+/10 of course) ;)

I always wanted to try Syberia after such good reviews, but I was affraid that it's as heavy as The Longest Journey was. But one day maybe...

Oh and this is an excellent idea. I think that is just exactly what I'm looking for. Especially I have played one of the King's Quest games in the past and I really enjoyed this one (it was 5th probably). Thanks.

You've played KQ5 but not 6? 6 is IMHO the best Quest of them all. You definitely need to check that one out...
Gemini Rue is without the best option for someone looking for that BASS feel.
I think you might enjoy Toonstruck, Torin's Passage and the new Sam & Max games. All of those are really good.

I'll also recommend Normality, even though it doesn't seem to fall into your UI preference.

There's also the hilarious The Next Big Thing (a.k.a. Hollywood Monsters 2), which is sadly not on GOG.

Since you are interested in Sierra's titles, be aware that most of their early games (King's Quest 1-4; Space Quest 1-3; Leisure Suit Larry 1-3; Quest for Glory 1-2) used text-parser systems instead of point and click interfaces. They're still good (most of them, anyway), but if that's not your thing, it could hamper your enjoyment there.
Some fans created free remakes of several of those titles, though: King's Quest 1-3 (& another one for part 3 by Infamous Adventures); Quest for Glory 2; Space Quest 2, as well as the fan-sequels Space Quest Incinerations and Vohaul Strikes Back. Great games, albeit different experiences from the originals.

EDIT: Fixed a link. Stupid brackets.

Wow, man! Those remakes are amazing! I'll start from this "new" King's Quest because it looks adorable!
