It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

When I first logged in today, from the General Discussion forum page, I was presented with the Sign Up/ Log In buttons instead of the Account tab, even though he page showed my favourited topics and the "New Reply" gears next to some threads. So, I was clearly logged in.

After visiting the front page, where the Account tab showed just fine, I refreshed the forum page, and the nav-bar behaved as should.

It's not the first time, and I'm pretty certain it won't be the last one either.
I've experienced it myself - I'm logged in for forum (I can post), and logged out for the top menu bar. :) Weird indeed. And only after some time passes. What's more weird it doesn't happen to me in GOG building ( :D:D ) on osx, only on my private ubuntu. :)

I've added it to bugs list recently. We have few ideas where could this bug crawl from.
I've added this topic to the bug description, so if you have any valuable input - please post it.

I experience the same. Weird thing is it only happens in one of three active GOG tabs (tab for this thread is fine, library tab is fine, community tab (without choosing a specific forum shows the bug).

I use the latest version of Firefox.
Encountered the same problem here too !

I'm using the latest version of Palemoon.

Please check if they have different protocols in address bar - https and http - or are they the same? + when you refresh it stays the same in each tab?

Only what has been said so far. If I open an account link by hand, the menu shows (similar to what HSL described) and it stays like that until I open the main forum page for instance, where it disappears again. Classic hide and seek.

Tried with latest versions of FF and Midori in Mint.

This requires more testing. Could you provide us with GOG WiFi credentials so someone in the proximity could drop by and confirm?
Happened to me also several times now on Firefox 42. running on Win 8.1. No issue so far on Firefox on Linux Mint.

Usually happens when I press on community tab or on gog.com icon. Sometimes it stays or auto resolves back to account tab.

I had this today, but just clicking on some links to go from one GOG section to another a few times actually fixed it for me.

Both protocols are affected here.

This fixes the problem for me too, but it does it by getting rid of the https. If https comes back, then it screws up again.

But I only went to the forum and logged in from there. I never visited a https site when this bug happened for me.

Yes, but are you visiting the forum via http or https?

Don't know if you fixed it yet (I can see account menu in all three tabs now), but if you still want to know, general forum and community are both http and library is https.

Same thing happening today. Both addresses use https.
Happens pretty randomly, for some reason it disappears when i update firefox for newer version, but sometimes it comes back after another update.
Yup using only HTTPS versions.

Just in case a list of add-ons.
