It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Mine got hacked as well, I've had my account since back when GoG was in beta. Still waiting on support.
Alas, given how widespread it would appear this problem is, we might be waiting for a long time.

Also, I think it's barely the next day over there in Europe, unless they're burning the midnight oil over there.

Just in case anyone else discovers this discussion:
To whom should we send our inquiries, especially if our e-mails have been changed?

Have you sent Firek a message?

And If things haven't changed, you can contact support without being logged in, and use any email address you want.
So, try from a browser/ system that has not stored your cookies perhaps?
Yeah, I contacted support and a ticket was created. I might contact Firek but I'd feel terrible messaging him. He's probably going to be bombarded with messages soon.

He's the head of support, and has handled all previous cases from what I read in hacked-account related threads.
Don't know how widespread this problem is, from the forum threads and posts, I count around 8-10 people, but who knows if others only contacted support.

He's still your best bet; with the sale, support is quite likely to not get back to you in a timely fashion. Of course, it's your decision.
Yeah, I decided to contact Firek via chat (I was linked to the Chat window). Let's hope he responds soon.

Do note that he may appear online in your chat page, but that may very well be because he's on Galaxy or just has the Galaxy client running in the background.
Also, if he's on Galaxy but on the site, he won't be notified of your message unless you have befriended him.

TL:DR - he will see a chat notification only when he gets on the site. Fingers crossed it won't take long though.
This is making me depressed :(

haydenaurion: Oh shit, now you've got me scared for my account.
I would suggest voting for the wishlist entry I made while waiting for your account to be completely restored to you: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/find_out_how_accounts_are_being_stolen_and_put_a_stop_to_it
Apparently there is a big vulnerability in the wishlists. So it might be best to stay away from them for the time being. I personally think it's highly improbable but it's still better to be careful.

Yeah, I read that awhile ago. Someone might want to tell the OP to edit his post and remove that link so others don't click on it.

JaqFrost: Yep, snoopy1492 is indeed number four. It seems all the people getting hacked are new GOG users.

Acriz: And often in combination with using Galaxy. Looks like there might be a big security gap.
Nothign seen like this. No cleartext credentials sent over the network, everything encrypted using TLS 1.2
Hacked account here too! Been postin everywhere. Still able to sign on because of the cookie browser thing. Still waiting for support to email me back...

my account has been hacked as well! email changed!!! arg!
Hi!

First off, I'd like to apologise to all who have experienced account hacking on our site over the past couple of days. We're hard at work to make this less of an issue and less likely to happen - but I understand how frustrating it must be to lose access to your games.

Having said that, there's a new measure that will help us pick up on hacked accounts more easily.

If your account e-mail changes, you will get an automated message.

It that looks like this and has the new e-mail address, the old one, the IP currently in use (together with estimated location), and the OS and browser of the current user.

If you get such a message and it wasn't you who changed the email address, contact us.

Use the link at the end of the message ("contact our support team") to let us know it happened. You'll be redirected to our contact form - here's an example of how to fill that in.

We do our best to get back to hacked account emails as soon as possible, and to change the e-mail addresses as quickly as we can and restore the fully functional accounts to their rightful users.

IMPORTANT:

1) When contacting us regarding a hacked account, you must replace the e-mail address with one you have access to - otherwise, our reply will end up at the hacker's e-mail address, which you have no control over or access to.

2) Please do not send multiple requests to support - if you do, your request is pushed to the back of the queue again. If you feel the need to add more details to your support request without getting bumped back, you can do so by replying to the automated support reply you will get with your Ticket ID.

3) As soon as you get access to your account back, please change your password. It may be a simple thing, but please don't forget. It will mean the hacker once more lost access to your account for sure.
