How do I enter for these lovely games?

No games are currently available.

FAQs

Can I enter for more than one game? Absolutely.

Can I enter for someone else? Yep.

Why can't I find these games in the GOG catalogue? They were pulled by the publisher/rights holder. However, as the giftcodes were purchased while they were still available, they are still valid, and can be redeemed. [Not applicable to current prizes.]

How long will this run? Eh, I'm not exactly sure. At least a day. Possibly longer, depending on interest.

On a semi-related note, I almost made one of the categories be about icecream flavours. Perhaps Urban Glaze is the newest from Ben and Jerry's?

That's an amazing and wild indeed collection of games you're giving away, Melhelix, +1.
May they find loving new homes.

Just for fun, my favourite extinct species is a tie between the Smilodon (sabertooth tiger) and the Giant Cheetah.

Not in.
Not in, but thank you for a great giveaway of some sadly missing games. Good to see you around, Melhelix!
You said an implement, but I'm going to go with my favorite, most unable to live without modern convenience, just for the sake for conversation: Indoor plumbing.

Think about the implications! It's not just running water we're talking about here.

There has to be electricity, as some plumbing setups require electricity in order to function. The sanitation implied with indoor plumbing keeps masses of people from becoming sick, and is an important foundation for modern medicine.

All that is very well and good, but if you're not thinking of the big picture, consider this: You don't have to freeze your jewels (or whatever ;p ) off just to use the bathroom. And being able to take a hot shower at any time? Total BLISS!

Yep, indoor plumbing is my #1 for sure!

EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm not in, but I may come back to be in for someone else later :D
EDIT #2: Woohoo~! And there's my entry! In for IronArcturus!

Oops wrong thread, I'm not in, but I do wonder how come none of these games got a Mac/Linux version before they dropped?
I would be in for Gothic (I) though if anybody offers :)

As for the questions:

My favorite plant is avocado, it makes such a lovely in-house flowerpot :)
My favorite planet is Pluto, gotta love the underdog ;)
This is pretty much the most amazing invention ever: http://www.gizmag.com/go-kin-backpacks-generate-electricity/32584/
My favorite extinct creature is the Unicorn. What do you mean it never existed? You just have to believe :) And I do aim to bring them back!

As odd looking as George Formby was, he was never forced to be lonely (strangely popular with the ladies, and men in ladies attire!).

GOG just didn't get around to making Wine wrappers for them before they got pulled. According to the Wine AppDB all of them run in Wine (which means you can get them to run on a Mac or Linux), although they do call for some tweaks. I, personally, haven't gotten around to testing these yet, but I do expect they'll run with a little bit of work (since so many of the Database reports are gold and silver). As for why GOG didn't get around to making wrappers for them, eh, it takes time to build them (especially since they have to build them solidly enough to run on a whole slew of OSes and not just custom for one single computer) and GOG has hundreds of games still to wrap. They just didn't come up in the wrap cycle before they got pulled.
I'm in for Gothic 2!

A favorite plant? Hmm, how about the Venus Flytrap? It's a plant that eats insects and looks like it's from another planet!

I'm not sure how to interpret the question: "When you say name." Did you mean the name of the game? I've read a lot about the Gothic games and apparently Gothic 2 has, well, a Gothic atmosphere!

Thank you for the giveaway!

Good luck, everyone!
