Hello, GOG Community.
I am a huge fan of GOG, their library, and their mission. I have purchased a large percentage of the games available on the site, and wish to continue to do so, particularly with the recent LucasArts releases.
However...
for over a year, now, my account's manual bookshelf of owned games has refused to work. The games got randomly reordered one day during the 2013 Christmas Sale, and they can not be reordered now. That was annoying, but not a deal-breaker. I like organizing my bookshelf, but I could still buy other games and play them all.
I emailed GOG support twice about the issue, and was told they were working on it, but it was a low priority. Not very helpful, but understandable.
When the GOG site revamp occurred last fall, owned tags stopped working on my account. I followed threads about others missing their tags and checked cookies and multiple browsers and different PCs, etc....
Tags still don't work. Once the promo page was revised a few months ago, I was no longer able to see which games I owned. Instead of the friendly 'Nice!, you own all the games in the promo' message that saved me a lot of time, the pages all say I don't own any of the games. I can't add any of them to my Wishlist..the list stays blank. My bookshelf still doesn't work.
I own a LOT of GOG's games. Sure, I could just click one at a time and find out at the purchase page if I actually own it...or cross reference each title against a spreadsheet.......but as a loyal customer who has given GOG LOTS of money, should I? I don't have time. I wantt to purchase games, especially during promos, not waste an hour finding out I own most of the games already.
I emailed support again a few weeks ago, pleading my case. I have gotten no response beyond the autoreply for a support case.
Is this really the way GOG treats their long time customers? I hope that all of you have had a better experience. I want to purchase from GOG again, but they are not helping. Can any of you?

Thanks in advance.
- Lord Torrek

Update March 16, 2015. - Thank Crom!! Whatever they did for un-bundling of the games FINALLY fixed my manual game shelf. That's something I've been waiting forever for!!

Update March 23, 2015 - And it's broken again. The unbundling of the games managed to fix the manual games shelf and break it again. I wonder if anyone will support it now?

Hello, LordTorrek. Let's try something quick, shall we? Click here to refresh your account (no, it's not the same as a browser refresh). Once you do that, try logging out and logging in again and tell me if it worked for you.

<facepalm>
The refresh appears to have worked for the owned tags. My number of owned games reduced by one....but I think I can assume that was a glitch and I didn't actually lose a game.
I didn't have any games missing from my library, as far as I could tell, so I didn't realize the refresh would apply to me. With 500+ games on the shelf it's difficult to know if one of them disappeared. I would hope GOG would announce the refresh as a more of a catch all account solution rather than just for missing games.
The owned tags now work.....the Wishlist now appears to work. The manual bookshelf is still broken, but I've been told repeatedly that's a low priority and I've even offered to review code and fix it myself.
Grargar, thanks so much for your quick and helpful response!! Yours should be an example to the GOG support staff. A quick and effective solution!

Regarding that one, do you perhaps own Sword of the Stars: The Pit Gold Edition? Some time ago, there was a bug that treated one of the DLCs as a separate game, which might explain why you are now minus one game.

+1 to Grargar, as I didn't want to open a new thread for this can I ask here, how to add tags to my games?

You mean like Steam? I don't think that you can.

I did buy SotS:TP Gold, yes. My account shows 3 DLC owned for it now and Juggernaut and Necromancer are unowned.

I see. When Juggernaut was released, users that owned the Gold Edition accidentally got it as an extra entry in their library, which disappeared with an account refresh.
