Because both are looking for a different type of game - one wants RPGs without troops (I actually replied to that one with my suggestions) and the other one wants games like Braveland.

Breja: Braveland is a lot like HoMM, just very simplified (still fun though).

Also, why only Disciples I & II, and not III? I mean, I know it's not nearly as good as the first two, but still, it exists. At least it looks mostly nice.
I didn't know about Braveland. I'm gonna check it out. Thanks for the idea.

I also vote for Master of Magic. It's one of my all-time faves, maybe even number one.
I've actually got Master of Magic on GOG, but I haven't played it yet.
Age of Wonders does sound fun, I do like how you've got technology advancement (that actually sounds a lot like when you upgrade you castle in HOMAM, and I played Civ 1) and the terrain advantage in battles.

The other games sound fun but I prefer old cartoonish style over Eador, and although Eisenwald sounds really cool, I read in the reviews it's quite dark and has lots of choices "that come to bite you back in the ass" and where you choose between two evils. I prefer normal and traditional RPGs that aren't dark 'n' gritty, like DAO and DA2 or others. Might and Magic are right up my alley! :) Or other classics from the 90s and 80s (and early 2000s, coupled with the new remerging genre games like D:OS or PoE).

I'm not sure what you are trying to tell me. I only provided these links to help, since a lot of work had already been done in those threads towards making a list of similar games. You yourself said: "Feel free to suggest games that seem similar but are not necessarily turn-based." And no, I did not check these threads for replies from you, which would have told me that you were already aware of them. I was only trying to help.
