No, actually I came off of the pills and I don’t use “social” media as it is governed by the same types that also hold all the cards with the media, but keep burying your head, I’m sure you’ll be feeling some kind of prick soon enough.

Please reconsider this extreme surrender to China and their bloated corrupt government and dictator, are you really so easily bought off?

I haven't bought a single Steam game due to their disgusting censorship of customers and reviews and now you do it too?! Steam betrayed my trust, did not reconsider their disgusting censorship and silencing of agrieved customers in favor of corporations, so I dropped them.

This year I was so excited to further increase my game library by buying exclusively from you BECAUSE of your principles! And believe me, I bought A LOT of games from you as you can see. And I just got not 1, but 2! physical collector's editions of Cyberpunk for me and my brother to support this company. I looked past all the problems with the game, SEVERE and MANY crashes and bugs, because I still had faith in you, that you would eventually fix this. I did not complain anywhere, and I kept saying to all my friends, it's alright, they will fix this, they're principled developers and people, unlike companies like Steam and Blizzard. When I saw this my heart and faith sunk...

I sincerely hope you are still better than them and will change your mind, please fight the good fight with us, the entire world needs more beacons of hope, not more surrendering to tyrannical corrupt communist dictators, you as proud polish people know full well the cancer of communism!

It was also pulled from Steam some time ago. Not buying there as well?

Imho it was a bad decision by GOG, but keep in mind that almost all suppliers of goods/services who offer theirs in China as well (or have it manufactured there) have made consessions.

@SLOFila - Ah. I wasn't aware they pulled it themselves from Steam. Leaves the question why it has not returned there. Clearly the developers feel it is ready for re-release. Maybe it is planned to release there tomorrow as well.

The developers themselves pulled it from steam and not steam themselves. At least according to the developers.

But since GOG gratefully accepted the Epic-Dollars in their 'Epic-deal', they are now influencable by Tencent. Which is the Chinese governent. We don't know what exactly the 'Epic-Deal' encompasses, but it must have been lucrative for GOG. Otherwise they wouldn't willingly turn themselves into an Epic-subsidiary. So GOG isn't worried about some "gamers". GOG is just worried to lose the chinese money that they get through Epic.

Just look at DRM-free, it used to be a principle, a value in itself, now it's just a USP, a marketing tool.

Yep, especially if they want to officially sell CyberPunk 2077 in their country they need approval from 10c or any CCP approved company with party representatives.

It seems the game have been really popular in unofficial channels (perhaps some pirating also), so they seem very eager to please...

At the end of the day, it's just utterly disgusting to see GOG a Polish company bend the knee to a communist party that has carried out acts of true horror against its own people.

Forget about video games they are supporting a political party that has openly murdered people in the millions. How many Polish people were dumped into mass graves or burned in ovens by similar extreme political parties?

It's utterly sickening in the extreme.

I highly doubt that chinese gamers were bothered by that. I suspect the 50 Cent Army review bombed it.
