My favorite animal is the Boston Terrier. They've been in my family for longer than I've been in my family (I was born in 1972, my family got their first Boston in the 1950s). Wonderful pets. They're loving, protective, great with kids, and they're playful like puppies damn near their entire lives.

Oops forgot the animal part. I love Rottweiler, I've had many large dogs but Rottys are my fav. They look menacing but they're big pooches. Good training leads to a good family dog. But that is for any animal. Animals reliability reflects from quality owners.

My favorite animal -well, that's a hard question, as I'm not the kind of person that likes animals... I think I like whatever animal just leaves me the heck alone. I thought this was cats, but it's apparently not ; I once had this stray cat hiss at me for no apparent reason (dogs also bark at me -while I'm the street and they're in the fences of their homes- for no apparent reason as well -maybe they sense I don't like them), and last week this other cat entered the classroom when I had a seminar-level uni class (that is, me, 3 other students, and the teacher had discussion on the subject at hand) and passed under the desks of everyone multiple time -very annoying when I wanted to concentrate on the class...
In short, my favorite animal has to be the goldfish, because it just sits in its aquarium and stuff (there probably is a possibility that a goldfish might bite someone, but I suspect that is if said someone goes out of his way to bully it, not for no apparent reason, as do dogs and cats). When I was in preschool, we used to have one, but we released it after a while, as we couldn't find anyone to look after it while we were on holidays (I barely remember that)...

My favourite animal would have to be dogs, and my favourite breed would be miniature dachshund. My sister had a long haired mini-dachshund a few years ago and it was the cutest most adorable loveable animal imaginable. She was highly intelligent and would do many feats that would blow people's minds, most of which she wasn't trained to do but just did on her own. It might be struggling to pull an enormous blanket off the couch for 20 minutes and meticulously rolling it into a ball on the floor and then pouncing on it to fluff it up before sleeping on it, or doing other more elaborate tasks in the right order such as fetching my sister's shoes, coat, car keys, purse when she wanted to be taken for a ride in the car, even remembering to get the umbrella when it was raining. Remarkable things like that. The dog was practically half human!

She was very much a lap dog and very close to my sister, didn't like to be away from her for a minute. When my sis was here visiting one time and went out to get us some movie snacks and left the dog behind, the poor thing stared at the door lightly whimpering the whole time, and then walked up to the door and actually started LICKING the door while whimpering. I got tears in my eyes it was so adorable! :) When my sister came back and I told her, my sis teared up too. The dog was just a total bundle of love and complete strangers would stop their cars to comment on the dog and meet her.

Sadly, Lady Jane passed away a couple of years ago which was a very sad time for my sis and the rest of us as well. After some time my sis got another mini-dachshund although a short haired one this time, and while the new pup is very different in personality and traits, there is a very friendly commonality and she's very adorable as well. :)

Har har. Hard to say. Of course there is the adorable Annie <----, boxer and some-sort-of-terrier mix, guessing AmStaff. But we've had a bunch of others over the years and I can't really say I have a favorite between them.

Three of the four games I avoided buying in the sale last week with telling myself how I already have several games and am kind of busy with work now and low on money and whatnot but seems I cannot pass by this awesome chance to get one for a smile :-) from Fortuna :-S

I have had a couple of cats in my life and my parents did too and in some households where I shared with others there were cats too in a few, so the common cat wins by a smidgen over the house spiders helping to keep indoors clean of flies and such.
