Bought it ages ago and played it last year for the first time. I was seriously impressed by how good it is and how modern it still plays and feels. Though it lacks the iconic units of a C&C or StarCraft and there is not much of a story, the gameplay is still really good, and any RTS fan should at least try it out. Oh, and the AI in the campaign is really bad, but this can be changed with mods.

One of these games which purchase I always postponed to the future. :) I have a version of this game from one of the gaming magazines, but it doesn't include expansions. What more I'm not sure whether that version would work on modern hardware. This solves the problem. Thanks GOG!
I have a similar problem. Maybe the servers need to refresh themselves. We have to wait a little. :)

According to the store page the game only works on windows 7, 8 and 10

also from the store page:

Mac notice: The game is 32-bit only and will not work on macOS 10.15 and up.

Interresting, how come GOG provide the mac iso and the downloader...?

Didn't know about that.. Probably then they should update the store page that there is a mac version

If this happens to anyone else, I'm fairly sure it is a load thing and you can just try again later. The givaway image loads, but not the button. It happened to me and I noticed that at the same time the news entries were all old and trying to show my games got me the super cute bear holding up the world image. It isn't an add to cart thing when it works, just a click the button and it will be added to your account fairly quickly (not neccessarily immediately).

Since Catalina was released, GOG removed the Mac listing from games that have a Mac build but not a 64-bit one, so will not work on that version, adding a notice under the Windows requirements about it. So if you see that notice there, it means just what you're seeing, that a Mac version exists, but it's 32-bit only and will only work on older OS versions. Why don't they keep the Mac listing and specify the versions it works on, like they do for Windows, which would also allow them to put that notice where it belongs, I have no idea.
