It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Hi guys

i downloaded witcher 3 through chrome browser, i realise now this was a bad move.

Im trying to get these files validated/used, i dont wanna download the whole game again as im on capped downloads.

Tryed downloading GOG galaxy and importing the file folder but it seems to want to fully download when i do this

Help :)
afraid you are going to have to redownload the whole thing ...again
but use this instead of galaxy ( pre alpha pretending to be a beta ) https://www.gog.com/downloader

you can find the downloader linsk by clicking on more and then click on gog downloader links in the pull down menu

Aren't the manual browser downloads the same as the GOG downloader ones? It might be worth starting the download in the downloader snowkatt linked to, stopping the download, and then moving your broken files into the folder it downloads into and restarting the download so that it recognizes the files you've already downloaded. When I originally downloaded Witcher 3, something was corrupted in the files and the downloader fixed the broken parts without having to redownload the entire thing.

But I'm not 100% sure that would work since you originally downloaded the files through the browser. Still, might be worth a try.
Hi,

try GOG downloader.
- Choose more -> GOG Downloder links for Witcher 3 in your games' library.
- Start downloading something and cancel the download process (deletes the file), so that the folder for Witcher 3 downloaded files will be created.
- Copy your already downloaded files there.
- Start a full download via the GOG Downloader links. The downloader will redownload only the altered files.

Hope that helps.

EDIT: Ninja'd! :-)
@227: It doesn't matter through which you've downloaded the files. Md5sum will be the same for correctly downloaded files.

i didnt know the downloader could do that
Does the chrome browser butcher downloaded files?
If the integrity check end on an error, the downloaded file got corrupted.
There’s no way that I know of to work around this, but redownloading the file that got corrupted.
