Out of curiousity, is DDR3 still eligible for future proofing, now that DDR4 is out?
There's not really going to be hardly any difference for gaming for quite a few years. DDR3 is perfectly fine :) (Now hardcore rendering could be a different story).

You're welcome! And you could check it out now just to get a feel for it. It's just lists a bunch of parts from various stores sorted by price, and you can create a saved parts list to buy at any time. Here's an example of one I'm building for a friend of mine:

Well, apparently the card I found is too long for my midi-tower. I'm glad I checked that before ordering. Out of all things, the case was not future-proof :P I'll get the MSI-card instead, when a good discount comes :)
