Hijin25.948: Anyone from gog can give me any answer that will clarify this?
avatar
zeogold: Timppu dijce que GOG puede estar rastreando su direccion de IP.
What did you just call me?!? Hijin, don't believe him! I was young and I needed the money!

Hijin25.948: Gracias. En efecto, ya realice una consulta al soporte tecnico, pero no recibo respuesta aun.
A veces, el soporte puede tardar mucho tiempo para responder.

timppu: What did you just call me?!?
I called you a Timppu. I fear it is the worst of insults. You'll have to duel me to get me to take it back.

Creo que deberias primero explicar que hiciste despues de formatear tu computadora, si cambiaste tu sistema operativo y si no, pues tengo las manos atadas por que en verdad Galaxy funciona como los Forums de esta pagina; Como le de la mera gana.

Oh, finally. Somebody who speaks Spanish better than me. This is a relief. I was beginning to worry I'd be stuck here alone with my shoddy translations.

This 2 steps scheme is retarded yet it seems to have spread to many websites and even games.

How? It's actually saved a good number of people from having their accounts hacked.
Plus, you can always just disable it if you don't like it.
2-step verification.. "Needs more steps also I just wish I would get that second step faster" you know.. After you have waited the code like 10 minutes.,

It might have saved a few people clicking on links they shouldn't have but it's put everyone at a far greater risk of keyloggers etc.
So now they will get gog login but also the logins of their emails which will may have all their other accounts thanks to this 2 step crap.

While gog may let you disable it plenty of other places haven't.
I noticed it the other day, when I ran CCleaner, I had to do that to log in. Wait for the text lol. I was like okay... sometimes more security isn't better.

Like the Neopets website uses REcaptcha things just to search, its like wow.

How? You can't even log in to GET the two-step code thing if you don't already know the email address associated with the account (you log in with email address, not username).
Plus, even if they manage to get this far, all it does is give a message explaining that an email has been sent to the same address the person just entered.
I honestly don't see what the problem is, unless you're somehow talking about some other place that has poor implementation of it?

By having your email address as the username and by virtue of having to login to your email to get the code they can snatch the details at that time.
