The key is quick action. It might sound odd but strength and melee weapons only aid in to hit as damage is already multiplied with double strikes in melee. When quick action is high enough (10 or 12), you can kill most enemies in 1 strike per round that gets the 2 hit.

Endurance is important only so you survive groups of 2 or maybe 3. You should fight against anymore than that at a time. Lure them away.

Intelligence is useless for solo melee as dexterity-I just finished those 2 builds.

Anatomy is good in G1 but quick action is better. The guy that moves first wins in melee...usually. Healing craft is ok and somewhat useful. The other skill which I would recommend is luck later on as it really gives added armor and other benefits. It might not seem like much but it works when you have a high ac.

So Strength, Melee, QA, and endurance are primary ingredients. Parry is not as useful unless G2.

I just powered an agent through G1 who only used healing/melee skills. It was just as easy as 1st time with guardian. The only problem is you spend more skill points on QA.

The tactics I use are luring an enemy to me, and then melee them. When I get low in health, I head over to a corner and give enough distance, exit combat mode and swiftly heal in real time mode. I usually get back to full health and the enemy is still coming for me.

Its a cheap tactic but its awesomely useful as you can literally teleport through combat mode by pressing enter and exit combat mode.
