Greetings to all adventurers.

Note: I provide screenshots of my progress on the map and my statistics.

I had the misfortune to choose this class (Guardian) thinking it was a kind of warrior, but alas no, I guess the game has a serious balancing problem with this one or I completely screwed up my build, I also specify that I didn't make any creation to protect myself.

So after choosing this class and having explored a good part of the map, battles became unmanageable because my character just missed most of his shots, which is a real shame when you consider that I've invested in Agility and Strength

It's quite simple, every time I get stunned, poisoned... I get the whole shebang!

I acquired the Obeyers' cause by completing their quest, speaking with “Control Four”, but once in the “Kazg Plains” region, the guards posed a problem for me. I managed, with difficulty, to take out some of those patrolling the fields (killing them one by one), but not those guarding the town entrance.

The other areas that give me problems are the 3 desert zones, i.e. “Dry Wastes”, “Barrens Research”, and “The Junkyard”, with the clawbugs that are unmanageable with their damn poison every turn.
The bridge to the north, because of the enemy mages who are far too strong (stunt, haste, and so on... ) and I'm not even talking about the place to the south-east of the map with the “spectres” (Ascended Labs).

In short, I'm completely stuck and on the verge of giving up the game for good, any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Try finding a way to get XP and gain a level or 2. Your hit rate is dependent on your level in this game, and I believe there's no other way to change it.

If that fails, cheat. There's a built-in cheat that gives you more XP. It might disable achievements, but should allow you to go back to enjoying the game.

There's also the "retrain" cheat, if you'd like to try a different build and see if that helps. Perhaps put points into shaping skills and try playing a bit with them?

Alternatively, you could just restart as a different class and save Guardian for the sequel, which grants the main character some special physical skills based on weapon skill levels.

Edit: Also, there's the option of reducing the difficulty (unless you're already on Casual). There's no shame in doing so!

Yes, you're right. In that case, the best thing to do is to start the game again because I managed my character's statistics very badly. As far as I can remember, I put almost everything into endurance , which in the end was useless.

I was playing on casually and I found a video solution that helps me a lot and I've progressed far in the game with a new ally.

I'm finally having fun.

Thanks for your help.
