My computer broke when I was playing Gemini Rue and lost all my save files. I don't feel like going through the gameplay once again and I would be forever grateful if somebody could give me save files around this part of the game:
Steal a Gun

I have tried save game files from the web, but when I try to load them I receive the following error message (see the attachment).

I have tried to load these files in both DirectDraw and Direct3D modes.
I also attach my current settings of the game.

Please help me, I have loved the game so far and I would love to finish it.

Hi! I don't know how to help you with that error message, but I could give you some of my savefiles. I played GOG's version of Gemini Rue, so heopefully they will be compatible.

How far along are you with the quests? I have a few savefiles after GIselle asks to steal the gun, but Azriel's storyline is quite advanced, I think (remember this is the section where you can alternate between the two characters). If you didn't play that part and don't want to miss it, I have savefiles from earlier in that chapter, but Delta-Six story won't be as advanced.

Let me know if you want them! I hope you can finish the game, it's a marvelous experience.

This is earlier than I thought, but I should have savefiles as well. So you are beginning the part where you can switch at will between Azriel and Delta-Six, right? (The icon on the top right corner).

I will check when I can access my laptop this evening.

The closest file I had to your description was one with Azriel and Matthias running to the rooftop. You just need to complete that part and watch (or skip) the cinematic, and I think that's where you were. For your ease, I have already locked the lower door. ;)
