On the Sierra boards, there was always talk of a Gabe nude patch.
To be fair, the idea of incorporating FPS elements into the franchise was discussed from time to time, especially as after the launch of GK3 it was obvious that the game wasn't going to break any sales records, and many fans found the suggestion agreeable. But turning it into a total FPS would, of course, have defeated the appeal of the games and the characters.
