Alright, i'm checking the dancing woman out and she drops the veil. I picked it up and gave it to her. I know i should've checked it and i already saved. So i go further and i'm stuck. After three days going crazy, i discovered i didn't checked the veil before giving it back so i don't have the snake scales!

This means i have to start all over again and i'm not in the mood so does anyone have a day 3 savegame?(GOG). I'm really pissed, i thought you could die but to actually have gamebreaking mistakes..jeez.
The snake scales aren't in the veil. The only purpose of the veil is to give it to the woman to make her like you. I can tell you where the scales are if you like, or give you a vague clue if you prefer. I don't know how to do spoiler tags on this forum, I don't think you can actually, so instead I've added a vague clue as well as a specific solution as image attachments. Just pick which one you want and open it up.

No, I think Ladm is right. If I remember correctly, there is a snake scale to be found in the veil BUT you only learn that it is a different one from the one from the crime scene. So essentially you should only loose a few points nothing else.

There must be something else missing. Are you still on Day 3?

Have you been at the university?
Have you met Malia in front of her family tomb (far to the right of the cemetary)?
Have you finished the gambling sidequest?
Have you made an impression of the bracelet (Cazaunoux)?

Ah, I see. This is my first time playing it so a lot of these little details are new to me as well.
Thank you so much for replying! And for the attachments and Clues!

So you guys were right, i missed something. At first i thought you had to use the snake scales to replace the bracelet since the old woman is easy to mislead...i actually went a lot of times to the crime scene and your final clue, did it:)

Thank you, i guess it's solved! The good thing is i'll be having MULTIPLE save games (just in case!) because i've read some horror bugs that are real:s .

Even if it was a bug i'll probably end up replaying it since it's really worth it!
