I have the three disc version of Gabriel Knight 3. I used the installer available online to install the game in Windows 7. However something is wrong with my 2nd disc because it won't let me copy over the file 202aend.bik. Every other file required to run the game transfers over so the game runs fine so far but I am worried I will run into problems when I get to day 2. Do you think not having this file will be game breaking? The file is rather large at 24 MB but if someone can help me out that would be great. Thank you.

Sorry it's taken so long for you to get an answer. A .bik file is a Bink video file. Typically that means it's a cutscene, though they can also be used for intros and such. In most cases, not having one of them won't cause any problems other than the video being skipped.

So in your case, I'd imagine all it'll do is simply not play that particular cutscene and skip directly to the next bit of gameplay or in-engine cutscene.
Thank you for your reply. I have a few adventure games to play before I start GK3 but this is good to hear since if this is the case, I'll just watch the cutscene on youtube.
