Hi all,

Trying to open GK3 on my Windows 10 computer and I'm getting the following errors:

1. When you first click on the start icon for the game, you get:

"Requested resolution of 640x480 not supported by DirectX driver, falling back to 640x480."

2. Then, it starts to open the game (the screen goes black) and you get:

"Sorry, this program requires support for 16 bit color mode."

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.
Download this: http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2_55_4.zip

Put the dgVoodoo.conf, dgVoodooCpl on GK3 folder. Also put the .dll files from MS folder to GK3 folder.

Click the dgVoodooCpl and on DirectX tab check the Force vSync, Fast video memory access and put some antialiasing if you want (8x MSAA). Click OK and start the game. If you have dual monitor setup, disable the second monitor.

When in game, disable Incremental rendering from the graphic settings.
Hello,

The game opens now, but as another user stated on another post, it is now asking for CD1...

Any fixes for that?

EDIT:
NVM found a fix from GOG, The forum won't let me post links cause I'm too new I guess but its listed on the GOG support help page for GK3, "Gabriel Knight 3 - The game requests a CD"
