Has anybody else noticed that this sound effect is exactly the same as the ticking clock that can be heard in Lou Ann's shop in Phantasmagoria? I'm not sure what game came first so I don't know who stole it from who. Maybe Sierra owned the rights to it so as long as it had the Sierra name they could use that effect?
