is there any way to install the gk2 subtitle patch with this version of the game? it only seems to work with the cd version when you install using the cd installer from sierra help pages, but that version doesn't start in android dosbox turbo, (just comes up with an errror when you run sierra.exe) where as the gog version works perfectly in android dosbox, just the subtitle patch wont install with it!

The game is a little quiet on my tablet, an app called volume+ helped a bit but in certain situations it's still a bit quiet!

I have found out a way to install it. Just rename the patch file, GK2Subtitles.exe, to GK2Subtitles.zip. Then use any compression program such as winzip to open it. You will find that there are several folders within the file. Enter the folder "SUBPATCH" and extract all of the contents into:

EDIT: the destination path has been corrected.
Windows 7
X:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Gabriel Knight 2\PATCH, where X is the drive which you install the game into

Start up the game again and you will find the English subtitle are shown up now.

Too bad it didnt work for me... Any other sugestions? Anyone? Voice acting in this game is realy difficult to understand, subtitles would be really helpful..

Am I doing it wrong, maybe? Do I have to extract files in SUBPATCH folder (just files, not the folder itself) or the whole folder with files in it?

Just files, not the SUBPATCH folder.

Sorry, I think I have missed the "PATCH" folder in my reply. I mean copy the files(without the folder SUBPATCH) into the PATCH folder of your GK2 installation path. i.e. C:\..\gog\gk2\PATCH in your case.
