I cannot get Gabriel into Mosely's office. The sergeant comes back almost immediately. I read somewhere you can wait till he falls asleep, but I find he nods, puts his head down, then lifts it up again straight away.
I am truly stuck!
Hope someone can help....
Thanks

I had this issue as well, when it played (in true DOS on an older machine) it had to do with using too fast of a CPU (pentium vs procs that were modern when the game was created). It took a while, but I finally made it through - very frustrating though trying to get through to the office over and over...
Thanks.....in the end, did you get Gabriel into Moseley's office when the sergeant was getting his beignet or did you get in when he put his head down?

Try to limit your CPU cycles to something around 10000. You can do that by editing the .CONF file. It is probably set to MAX or AUTO at the moment.

Frick should then sleep long enough.

Just finished this game for the first time I'm ashamed to say. Great story, it definitely deserves the hype.

As for your issue, I remember having that same problem for a few clicks.

Just time it as you see him initially nodding and click the door. Watch him, there's a moment where he hangs his head down just a tad longer than the first couple nods.
That's the moment you're able to open that door and get in without trouble.

As previous users stated I'm sure it's due to a cpu speed issue. I tried turning down the game speed in-game with no luck, just had to get lucky on my clicking :)

Enjoy the game.

Thanks you so much. Put cycles on 1000, but soon realised that was too low LOL, so put it on 10000 and now I got Gabriel in Moseley's Office while the sergeant was still outside.
Great to have this help!
Cheers
