I am up to Day 5 the part where I have to give evidence to reopen the voodoo murders case, I have given the other two parts but the last one isn't working, I am trying to give Mosley the reconstructed Veve but all that happens is the narrator's voice says "are you sure that's wise? Mosley would surely wonder where Gabriel got that, and what he intends to do with it." and if I try to give him Hartridge's note nothing happens ie click Mosley , click Hartridges note when I do this it goes back to the main arrow, I have installed the patch from GOG but I did this after I got the above problem. Has anyone else got this problem too?
If you didn't give him the reconstructed veve and Hartridge's notes, then giving him the newspaper article about the veve shouldn't have worked, from a storyline standpoint.

I always thought that you had to give him the evidence in the order that he asked for it: First, that there is a legitimate cult; second, that the cult is a threat to the public; and third, the lead on the cult.

I mean, you can't prove that something is dangerous without first establishing that it exists, right?

I would load a saved game from before you gave him any evidence and then go back and give him the veve, Hartridge's notes, the newspaper article, and the two scales, in that order.

Yep I got that loud and clear.....

Is there any other way? If you remember back to the original GK1 game the order of items had no effect is anyone else having this problem?
If you lack any savegames from before the glitch occurred, Phoenix put working savegames on their site:

http://www.postudios.com/Demos/GK1_Working_Saves.zip

So worst case you can still continue your game with those without having to repeat too much.

And yes, I've read about this problem before, this player has the same issue as you: http://www.postudios.com/blog/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=b17c4a9db9abad7b547af947ab86075f&topic=14152.msg360152#msg360152

Also, it's unlikely that the patch would still fix anything that has already occurred before it was applied.

You're not supposed to give the veve to Mosely.

I am also having a similar issue. The narrarator says I've already given him the info, but he doesn;t reopen the case
