Well, I would recommend uninstalling but keeping your saves somewhere safe before uninstalling. With an all new version like this I think it's best to start clean :)

zeffyr: OK, but how about my highscores? Can they also be saved when uninstalling?
Have you looked in [gamedir]\user\ for any files with a .sav extension?
